Villa L’Antica Colonia is a 18th century  charming and independent holiday home with accommodations for up to 18 people ideal for groups, family gatherings and events. It is located in a beautiful location with stunning views of Lake Orta a small romantic lake in the northern part of Italy (Piedmont). The villa of 500 square meters, conveniently situated on a promontory over the lake, is characterized by its terraces with stone columns and loggias with a spectacular panoramic view, all located within a large land dotted with fruit trees and flowers overlooking the enchanting Lake Orta.

Villa L’Antica Colonia is located in a superb setting on the hills above the Lake Orta and its island of San Giulio with stunning commanding inspirational views.

Lake Orta is on the west of Lake Maggiore at 20 minutes by car and about 1 hour from Como Lake and it is entirely in Piedmont region. It is known as ‘Cinderella’ and has long been a favourite destination for tourists thanks to the quiet beauty of the landscape, its fascinating history and its wealth of artistic treasures principally Romanesque and Baroque architecture

The villa has 5 accommodations (3 suites,1 studio and 1 cottage) all equipped with one or two bedrooms with a total of 7 separate bedrooms (5 double bedrooms + 2 twins) and 7 bathrooms (5 with showers). All the accommodations have private fully equipped kitchenette, comfortable sitting room and satellite TV, en-suite bathrooms with shower tray, individually controlled heating system and private equipped outdoor space and lake views, giving all members of the family or group their own space. In add, lovely indoor areas and splendid open-air lounges create enchanting common place to stay all together.

At the entrance of the villa (main floor) around the internal short with stone fountain there are the following accommodations:

1. Suite “Giuseppe”
(1 double bedroom – matrimonial, 1 bathroom with shower, 2 adults, 1 living room which may be arranged as a living or a sleeping room on request, 60 sqm terrace with lake view)

2. Studio “Clementina”
(1 double bedroom – matrimonial, 1 bathroom with shower, 2 adults, patio no lake view)

3. Cottage “Maria”
(Structured on two levels, 1 double room-matrimonial, 1 twin bedded room, 1 living room which may be arranged as a living or a sleeping room on request, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 guest toilet, 6 people, garden with lake view)

On this level there is an indipendent guest toilet.

From the entrance floor a staircase leads up to the first and second floor suites.

On the first floor there is the follow accommodation:

4. Suite “Guido”
(1 double bedroom – matrimonial, 1 twin room with bunk bed, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 living room, 2 adults + 2 children, loggia with lake view)

On this level there is a 60 sqm terrace with lake view.

On the second floor there is the follow accommodation:

5. Suite “Elda”
(1 double bedroom – matrimonial, 1 bathroom with shower, 2 adults, 1 living room which may be arranged as a living or a sleeping room on request, loggia with lake view)

From the entrance floor a staircase leads down to the ground floor of the villa where there are the Exclusive Common Areas.

On this level there is a large living room of 70 sqm partly decorated with original stones and vaulted ceiling with elegant and comfortable armchairs and sofas and table, a wine cellar and a spacious fully equipped kitchen with adjacent dining room with cosy fireplace.

From the ground floor access to an outdoor area for dining, relax and sunbathe with a splendid view of the lake and to the large private land at the foot of the villa.
